We welcome walk-ins and will do our best to accommodate you based on availability.What if I don’t make my scheduled appointment or arrive late? We ask that you kindly observe a 24-hour cancellation and appointment change policy. Cancellations made with less than 24-hours’ notice will result in a full charge for the treatment. “No shows” will also be charged in full. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your spa services to allow time to change. If your schedule permits, we highly recommend arriving an hour early to enjoy our saunas, steam rooms, whirlpools and lounges. If you arrive late for your spa appointment, your service may be modified to conclude at its scheduled time in order to honor the next guest’s appointment.What is the minimum age for spa patrons? Guests of the spa must be at least 18 years of age to enjoy a private spa service. Services to younger spa-goers (between the ages of 13 and 17) are provided at our discretion and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of any closed-door service.Are there gratuities for services? Gratuity is at your discretion. An 18-20% gratuity is traditional when receiving quality services. For groups of six or more, a 20% gratuity charge will be added to all treatments. Please note that our spa is a cashless facility. If you would like to tip your therapist in cash, please bring the exact amount and request an envelope at our spa desk.What should I wear and bring to the spa? For your comfort, the spa provides robes and slippers to wear in our facility. We request that you do not bring valuable possessions into the spa. Always inform the reservation agent when making an appointment of any physical, medical or allergy concerns. If the course is unplayable or closed due to weather, we will offer you a time to reschedule.What is the dress code on resort golf courses? The Golf Club at Lansdowne’s goal is to create an environment that is relaxing, yet worthy of our reputation as a premier private club facility. The dress policy is not meant to comment on the fashion decision of our members and guests, however, we strive to create a policy that provides consistency with both the tradition of private clubs and our AAA Four-Diamond rated Resort. The following policy is in place at all times within the Clubhouse dining areas and the Golf Facilities, except where other clothing is customary such as Locker Rooms, Pools, Health Club, and Tennis Courts.Permitted: Men: shirts with collars and sleeves. Turtleneck and mock neck shirts are included. Women: shirts must either have a collar or sleeves. Turtleneck and mock neck shirts are included. Our courses have multiple sets of tees for varying skill levels. Our extraordinary golf pro staff provides both one-on-one and group lessons to resort guests and club members. We have several programs targeting all aspects of the game. Our mission is to determine the student’s goals, utilize the latest technologies to validate golfer behaviors and customize a program.What is the student/teacher ratio? For clinics, there is typically an 8:1 ratio.When is your scheduled course maintenance? We aerify in spring (late March/early April) and then again in the fall (September/October). With two 18-hole championship courses, we make every effort to schedule maintenance to allow one course to heal before addressing the other.Are range balls included with my rounds? Yes, range balls are included in fees.Can I rent golf clubs and shoes? Yes, we offer new Callaway rental clubs each season, including: men’s, ladies’, right-handed, left-handed, stiff, regular and more. We charge $79 (18 holes) and $59 (9 holes) per set for rental, which includes six golf balls. We do not rent golf shoes, but do allow tennis shoes on our courses.Can I leave my clubs at the golf course during my stay? Yes, complimentary club storage is available to both resort guests and club members.Can juniors drive golf carts? A valid driver’s license is required to operate our golf carts.Can I bring a cooler onto the course? Outside food and drink is prohibited on our golf courses. Fully stocked beverage carts travel throughout the courses for refreshment during your round and players can stop at Turnberry’s between holes 9 and 10 of the Greg Norman Course. After play, golfers can enjoy food and drinks at Piedmont’s in the clubhouse.Can someone ride along with me while I play my round? This is typically permitted. Please check with the golf shop on the day of play to confirm.Is there a cart fee? No, cart fees are included in your golf round, golf package or guest fee.What is the pace of play on your courses? For the benefit of all golfers, we typically like to maintain a reasonable pace of play at 4 hours and 30 minutes on our 18-hole courses. We ask that you keep up with the group in front of you and have player assistance available to help, as needed.Can you accommodate players with disabilities? While we do not maintain a wheelchair-accessible cart, we can make arrangements accommodate such players with advance notice.What are the cart path rules?
