LANSDOWNE GOLF ACADEMY At our Virginia golf academy, no two students look or play alike. There is the avid golfer who would like to shave just a stroke or two off their game. GAME CHANGER GEARS is an advanced golf motion analysis and body-tracking system used by PGA professionals, club fitters, and leading club manufacturers to measure and analyze every detail of a golf swing. Using cutting-edge motion capture technology, golfers can experience their swing in slow motion and in full 3D, from address to follow-through, providing a clear, visual understanding of how their body and club move together. This one-of-a-kind system is one of fewer than 30 in the nation. PRIVATE INSTRUCTION The best way to improve your golf game quickly is to work one-on-one with a Lansdowne Golf Academy instructor. Armed with the biomechanical analysis of your golf swing, this instructor can structure your private lessons to reinforce what works in your swing and retrain your mind and muscles to break the bad habits currently hurting your game. GROUP INSTRUCTION This is your chance to learn and improve your skills in a social setting, sharing experiences and gaining feedback from both the instructor and other participants. OPERATION 36 Our Northern Virginia golf academy’s flagship year-round program is how junior players grow their game through a six-level curriculum that involves playing, learning and training with the objective of shooting par or better for 9 holes. DETAILS FUTURE 36ERS This program is perfect for introducing young players to the game in a fun, shorter format in preparation for Operation 36. Recommended for ages 4 – 6. DETAILS HIGH SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT Recreational, is great for the junior who would like to learn golf on a deeper level and for those seeking to continue their learning past our Operation 36 program. DETAILS SWING & SERVE CAMP Each summer, our pros teach day campers the fundamentals of the short game, full swing and putting. The program includes daily games, contests, tennis, swimming, fun and fitness too. Recommended for ages 7 – 12. DETAILS “When it comes to sports, Sean has tried several things which I think has contributed to a lack of confidence due to him feeling he’s not as fast, talented, etc. as the other kids. He also has a reserved personality. The Ops 36 program has helped build his confidence while enjoying a sport and you guys have a great way of making it fun while learning. The Lansdowne Cup takes it further with the team element which helps him understand teamwork and winning together. It was also great to see him want to walk along a couple of holes during the Coaches match which surprised me.
