In the late 1700s, the Coton & Rye property stood on this very land. Nestled along the Potomac River, the farm flourished as a harvester of rye. Today, we honor that agricultural heritage with comforting tavern fare prepared from Old Dominion recipes and made with freshly picked ingredients sourced from Loudoun County farms. PRIVATE LABEL WHISKEY
In partnership with Catoctin Creek Distilling, we proudly offer Coton & Rye Whiskey. Made from local rye grown by Trent Teebe, proprietor of Three Monkeys Farm, at the historic Moven Park, this is the first batch of Virginia whiskey made from grain grown in Loudoun County since Prohibition. Aged in Barrel 609, this private label rye whiskey is available exclusively at Coton & Rye.
